Microphone in my Asus X550 DP doesn't work

When I check all the settings it shows that everything should be active, however once I want to make an audio test I receive an information that the audio seetings in my hardware doesn't work. Could you please tell me how to access them and change?
This is a new laptop, I bought it last month. I didn't know about the problem until I tried to make a Skype call. Now I'm abroad so I can't even return it to the store.

Try downloading the latest Realtek drivers here:

http/www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

This will refresh your device settings and fix any driver issues you potentially have.
