Microphone Suddenly Recording Sound Audio Instead of My Voice

Greetings everybody. I bought the Sennheiser Game Zero Black headset back in March for my birthday, and for a few days now something odd has been happening to the microphone that comes with the headset. A few days ago when I woke up, it came to my attention that whenever I tried to talk in-game and outside of game my microphone would pick up sound audio instead of my actual voice. When listening to recordings, I can not hear my voice at all but just the audio of YouTube videos playing.

Before this issue started to happen, I don't recall downloading any drivers or anything that could have changed anything to my microphone. I am using Realtek HD Audio Manager.

I'd highly appreciate any response and I will be sure to quickly reply to solve what's going wrong.
