Missing bookmarks

Hello, Iam running xp pro with sp3 installed

I have been having a problem with my IE8 bookmarks
Some times when I go to click on them they will just disappears other times
The name of the bookmark is still their but the link is gone and you cant click on it I have checked my computer for spy ware and virus and still have problems suggestions ?

Try this method, run #1 and #2 @ http/www.tomshardware.com/forum/8263-63-simple-free-guide-removing-malware

If clean, back up the "Favorites" and uninstall IE!

[fixed]Remove every part of a program completely. And than install again.

U can use Your Uninstaller! or Revo Uninstaller. The Windows uninstaller will not remove everything.

And install again through the Windows update. Let me know what happened.
