Which would be better? I've seen a lot of good reviews on the g750 but the Msi looks so much better. I don't want the Msi to overheat or anything and I know the ASUS cooling is good. So will the Msi overheat? That is my main question, because if it wont I will be getting it.

Notebookcheck has a pretty strong review of both laptops.

They mention in their review of the GE70 that the MSI had some issues with heat, getting up to 60 degrees Celsius on some parts of the laptop body. That being said, they did mention the display quality was quite excellent.
If you use a good laptop cooler underneath though, you should be fairly okay I imagine.

I own the ASUS G750JX, which is the same as the JW, but with a Geforce 770M instead of the 765M, and have no real heat issues, and the display looks great. The ventilation on the laptop is pretty solid.

Something to consider, the 1TB hard drive on the G750JW (the one you're looking at) is only 5400 RPM compared to the 7200RPM drive on the GE70.

tldr version;
GE70 has a faster hard drive and a well-reviewed screen, but does have some heat issues (and therefore, CPU throttling issues because of the heat). If you plan to get this, get a decent laptop cooler for when you're using it on the desk.

The ASUS G750 has a slightly slower hard drive but larger capacity. Dispenses heat fairly well however, and the LCD is great for what I'm using it for.
