I have an MSI GLM 7RD laptop, the I O P J K L keys would randomly stop responding when pressed, but would respond if i was holding another key and press one of those key
I tried using an external keyboard and it works fine, I also tried reintalling the keyboard driver

Solution
Did you use any driver installation tool like driver booster or similar? Some of these overwrite the firmware of the keyboard with a wrong one

update the BIOS, Intel ME driver, chipset driver and firmware (EC) from this site
https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GL62M-7RD#down-firmware

other than that it should be a hardware fault

check the correct seating of the keyboard connection cable
try cleaning under the keys

if this won´t help, replace the keyboard

check to see that numlock scroll lock fn lock are all off then verify that the type of keyboard matches the one windows says it is and ur language preferences

to check u can start onscreen keyboard then check those buttons on it
