All I have on tv input is a anntena to receive all fee over the air channels but after a channel I get a no signal display

Possibly the wire for the antenna is faulty, but unlikely.
Are you near local OTA stations that you expect to receive stations where you have the antenna placed?
What antenna are you using? What TV? Is there only one antenna input on the TV?
