my acer wont powerup unless battery is removed

I have an accer laptop. Of which i mistakenly had the battery completely drained,Now that it won't start. Tried with another battery, but still

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to do a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again with the battery.
- If the laptop only boots up without the battery and is directly connected to the AC adapter, try connecting the battery while the laptop is on.
- If it will still not work, please open Device Manager and uninstall/reinstall the battery driver.
- And if all these will not work I would suggest replacing the battery itself.
