My Windows 7 desktop (just been rebuilt) with AMD FX6300 and Gigabyte 970 Gaming.
Load Windows 7 up, plug in Ethernet cable... And nothing.
No connections are available...
Tried 3 different Ethernet cables and all 4 ports on the Virgin Media Hub.
My desktop before I updated it was connected to it for 9 months with no problems.
My laptop and other devices work fine on it.
So I have no idea why it's not connecting.
This is really annoying.
Please help.

I think those are really exclamation points in a yellow background.... That means the drivers for those devices aren't loaded. Did you either download the latest drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's website before rebuilding or did you find the original disk (less optimal) that came with your motherboard?

That's what it looks like on the Device manager screen

Monitors
Other devices
- Ethernet Controller (two yellow hands clasped next to an image of a router)
- Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller (two yellow hands clasped next to an image of a router)
