My keyboard is locked. Cannot even enter my password to go into my programs. Help

My computer will come on and go to my sign in page. Will not let me type my password.

Did the keyboard get wet. How long have you had laptop? Have u opened it up and fiddled with insides.( Not recommended unless trained.)
