So here is the thing, my PC has a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 R5 Motherboard, that has these outputs https://1drv.ms/i/s!Ar1aRSrtGIu1pDB1xblS9eVIiVjG I believe these outputs are for 7.1 surround sound. So the question is, i can just plug the required speakers there and have surround sound??

I have an old Sony 5.1 Home Teather with decent speakers, Could i plug the Home Teather speakers directly to my pc and get surround audio?? Also, the speakers don't have a plug, they just have the two wires, is there an adapter i can get to conect them to the 3.5 mm output from my PC??

No and no and no and no. Enough negatives? :)

The so called "Home Theater" boxes, one word: SUX. Why? not expandable, typically can't play surround from external sources like your PC, or can't connect to your PC at all.

Yes you can re-use the speakers, EXCEPT now where the amplifier? The amplifier suppose to be your HT box but as trashed in the last paragraph, it can't do the job for you.

You need an honest-to-God AV Receiver.

Tight budget you say, looking for something compact and simple? Maybe one of those self-powered surround speakers set and comes with a subwoofer, the amp is built into the sub box. But I don't recommend either, because am already seeing posts people complaining about these "PC speakers" You have to shop...

I´m not used to this surround connectors, but I´m sure this connectors don´t go directly to the speakers, they have to go to the receiver (HT) or the amplifier, but your best friend is the instructions manual ;)

If there is a DIGITAL IN in form of a Toslink or SPDIF (coax) connector in the back of that HT box, you have a prayer.
