My track pad for my leveno thinkpad isnt working how can i fix this

when i try to use my track pad at the bottom of my key board the pointer will not move. The same thing goes for the little red mouse thing inbetween my g and h. But when i plug in a mouse the mouse is able to work. Does anyone know whats wrong if so please help

Do you have the drivers for the devices installed? Check your Device Manager for any exclamation marks.
Also go to Control panel/Mouse/UltraNav and see if they are enabled.

Go into Ctrl panel>hardware>mouse>advanced and in there should an advanced settings button. In there you wanna find palm tracking and turn it all the way down (left)

Just went through this myself hope it helps
