My zte won't come on

My zte pro max wont power on. The zte power on screen comes on then goes to white metro pcs screen then vibrates and shut off and starts over but never completely powers on. I am not sure what is wrong. It got wet the other day and I put it in rice. But it still started randomly shuts off . But it stopped doing that even what is wrong

It probably still has moisture in it. That old leave a phone as it is and put it in rice is so not wise or helpful.

What works is to open the device, remove the battery, remove any SIM or SD cards and leave it somewhere safe open and alone for a few days. Yes I did say days.

Doing anything else, including using it right away is extremely unwise.
