Nc10 with a black screen after standby...

nc10 with a black screen after standby. The computor is still running but the screen is black. When I press the Power-button nothing happens. The only thing i can do is to shut it off by holding in the Power for about 5-7 sec. This only occurs sometimes. Otherwise i can press the powerbutton and the computer starts emidiatly. What goes wrong? Have read about hibernation....but how do i get the computor to wake up without having to shut it down first?
