Need advice about a virus!

Hey guys, so I'm stupid, and I downloaded a link a random guy sent me on Steam, yeah. Basically, he has been able to take control of my computer and drag my Steam inventory into a trade and hit the accept button, so somehow he has took control of my computer as I watch it happen. Do you know what sort of virus this is? I have run Mcafee and the built in virus protection on windows, but still he has come back today and managed to do it yet again, do you have any idea what I should be looking for?

run it and post the results. if theres anything that shouldnt be running it should show it.
as for whats happening it sounds like he's using a remote exploit. you likely installed it when you visited the link. other than finding it and killing it theres not a lot you can do.
iif you do find something then find and kill it and then change your password on your stream account.

Disconnect your Computer from the Network. Use another known good computer to change your steam password and report that SOB. then use a boot cd to recover any data that was vital off of your infected machine to an external drive. then re-image your infected machine (only sure way to know that the infection is gone.). once you re-image make sure your Anti-virus is updated and you turn auto-run off. then scan that external drive your data backup. if it all checks out your good.

I currently have McAfee and Avira open, I have the free version of Avira

ive had a look at your list and i cant see anything. thats not to say theres nothing there because some steam exploits can be run from your browsers cache so every time you log onto steam it becomes active.
malwarebytes may help but honestly im a bit stumped by this.

get rid of one of your A/V Programs. they will attack each other when attempting to scan.

also, it a malware, not virus.

that was my fist guess but after looking into puush it appears legit. (the virus version doesnt have a comma at the end of the name.)

Hi, try disabling the antivirus program from your machine and boot it in the safe mode or in the safe mode with command prompt. So that it may work. Also if you have three antivirus in your machine means, uninstall Avira and scan with only McAfee. This may work.

why scan with macfee its probably the poorest payed av you can get. avira actually has a higher catch rate.
better to use avira along with malwarebytes for instance over macfee.
