Netflix cable, plug in connection advice needed

Hello. We have a HDMI Sony projector and want Netflix .We already use the dvd player and have regular cable wifi. We thought we could use what is available in the store but was told no. yellow white black does not give us HD. We need a cable or connection, anyone know what this is exactly?

I think you either want a component cable (red, blue, green) or a HDMI cable which has everything integrated into one cable. You mich as well buy something like the google chromecast if you are using it solely for netflix.
