I need a basic BD-Rom reader software for Win 7 64 bit?any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean a BluRay movie player? Or one that will read BlueRay disk images?

There are no free BluRay movie players, I read that VLC can open the core BluRay files and can play some of them though. PowerDVD will play them, so will some Corel software.
