New to mousepad, How do I perform right/left click functions?

Hello,
How do I right click, left click, highlight and select the highlighted text with a mousepad?
I'm only used to a mouse.

I don't think you mean a mousepad, touchpad probably. Left click is just a tap, right-click you may need to use the buttons for, select is hold down and drag across the test.
