no audio sound

I have just got a new tv with no audio out but has an audio in. My home theatre system also has a audio in when i connect there is no sound what can i do.

I don't get it. What are you connecting to what. You can't get sound out of the TV so there's no sound that can go into the home theater.

OK, so what you want to do is use HDMI, you dont have to worry about audio in and out
