Nothing will read my full SD card!

My Pentax Optio camera says 'memory card error' and HP laptop says 'you need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it'... The gold plates on card do look quite worn out,lost the shine of newer cards. What can i do??? 2 GB of travelling photos i would oviosly love to get off the SD card

check with tools like "PC Inspector Smart Recovery"

Clean the gold plates with alcohol
