Hello,

More then once my power button notification light is
blinking (the green light) while all the reminders has
been cleared.

I can turn it off only by soft resetting the device.

WHat could cause this?

I'm using iPAQ H1910 with Packet PC 2002 OS.

It could be another program interfering with the alarms. Are you using
any third-party alarm notification software? What software is running
at the time the problem happens?

Does a soft reset sort it?

Yes. Soft reset solve the problem, but this is not a
solution.

I don't use any other third party applications on my iPAQ,
in fact I have just made a hard reset to my iPAQ 2 days
ago and it's only the Microsoft Pocket PC standard
applications installed.

When it's happened the application still running is Active
Sync.

Any Ideas?

Ensure that under Tools -> Options, Mobile Schedule in ActiveSync on
the Pocket PC, that both boxes are set to "Manually".

Under Settings/Personal/Sounds & Notifications/Notifications you
probably have the "Flash Light" checkbox checked for "Activesync:
Begin Sync", and "No Limit" selected for duration. Uncheck the box.

I noticed my Dell Axim no longer has a "Flash Light" option for ASync
notification after upgrading to 2003, but I'm sure it was there with
the PPC 2002 OS.
