on booting my laptop says remove disks or other media

it says remove disks or other media
press any key to restart

and when i press the key it says
no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

Are you trying to install an operating system, or are you getting this error when starting up your laptop?
For now, go to BIOS and change the Boot order so that your HDD is the first in the list.

i get this error when i start my laptop
and my boot order is

notebook hard drive
internal cd/dvd rom drive
usb cd/dvd rom drive
! usb floppy
! network adaptor

Do you have any external drive/flash drive connected to your laptop when you`re starting it up?
If yes, remove them and try to start the laptop.

no any external device is not connected that time
the boot order i provided is correct or not??
because before this problem arise i was changing boot order in bios but after that i restore default bios settings

The boot order seems correct, and if you have nothing connected, and set bios settings to default, you should fix the issue.
So you still have this problem even after the BIOS was set to default settings?
