Only 25Hz when connected through HDMI.......

Hi ,

I own a 23 inch Samsung 2333HD monitor/tv with a native resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080)
it has 3 types of connections : Dvi , Vga and HDMI .
if i connect it to my pc through vga or dvi it works perfectly.

If i connect it through HDMI it CAN support 1080p but only @ 25Hz..... if I downgrade to 1680 x 1050 or further it goes to 60hz as normally..... also this happens if i connect my pc to any TV through hdmi and i have seen this happen with another pc connected to a different monitor.......

the problem is that i am not able to work with it @ 25 hz because it is too bright and does not have very good quality.... on the other hand i don't want to work it @ 1680 x 1050 because it os not very clear and is not what i was looking for....

i could connect it through dvi but i don't have one and the cheapest in my area costs ~ 15 Euro....

any ideas what could i do so it works @ 1920 x 1080 60hz ??

You need a better graphics/video card ? Reduce your colors, What happens?
