I bought a P650HP3 from PROSTAR the 1/24/2017, bref just one year.
Today, I start the computer.......an nothing.
I noticed the power adapter has not the green light on....so I unplugged it....no change.
I unplug all from the wall and try in another room. Result the green led turned on on the power box.
But when I connect the power box in the labtop.....the green led turn off and nothing, no light on the P650, no noise....
Have you seen this problem before ?

Solution
NOTE: Yes, I know some batteries are not so easy to get to, on some devices. However, it should be removable/replaceable. Unless it is under warranty, then you should contact the manufacturer first.

Try the following and see if it will turn on...

1. Unplug your charger cord.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds.
4. Now plug back in the power/charger cord.
5. Now put the battery back in.

If this doesn't help, then test the power cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord in your laptop. You may also want to try charging it when the device is off, rather than on. If it works then, the cord is probably the issue.

Should that not be the problem...

I just checked.Nothing worked even with the battery totaly disconnected. The battery is empty (50 mV......bref 0v). In fact when I connect the powerbox, the powerbox turns himself down. Any ideaz?

Your device could be one that won't work if the battery is out, no matter if connected to the charger or not. The only way to know for sure is to replace the battery.

Prior to buying a bunch of parts and going through them one at a time, you may want to consider taking it to a local tech and see if they can narrow it down.
