Panasonic HDTV

Hello I bought a Panasonic TV not long ago but now that I know a little but more about the HD world I have a few questions that I would like some kind soul could answer to me...

The tv boxing or manual says its a 720p HDTV, however, when I plug in my bluray player, a little window on the left part of the screen appears for a brief time and it says: 1080p - 60hz ... What does this means? is my tv a FULL HD tv?

I'd trust the manual. Your player is probably just set to 1080p output, it's not what the TV is displaying.

I looked behind the tv and I found the model is: Panasonic TCP42XT50H
