I have a GTX680 GPU and when I try to connect it to my HDTV I get this wieird issue : my HDTV is supposed to be full HD and is supposed to support 1080p, but when I select this resolution, the screen goes out of boundary. In fact, if I select any 9:16 resoluiton, the screen goes out of boundary, and the issue is only solved if I select 960:1280, which is a 3:4 resolution.
I have a widescreen LCD HDTV and it works fine on 1080p with my xbox360. So why I have this issue on pc and is there anyway to solve it ? I tried many types of connection, (HDMI, dvi to HDMI, DVI to VGA) and I used the overscan option provided by nVIDIA, what shall do else ?
