Hello,
I have a PC with two radeon HD 7770 cards and my TV ( a Sharp Aquos that supports 1080i) has a PC in input option with a VGA cord, I was wonderign can I use one card for my monitor and one for my TV? Also is distance and placement at all important, because mt PC is across the room not directly beside it, will this cause issues?

Yes overly long VGA cables running through noisy (electrically induced) areas can degrade your signal.

You can output your cards to anything you want but if all your HDTV has for a pc input is VGA than you are going to be dissapointed, HDMI output out of the back of your graphics card to a HDMI input on the back of your HDTV is the only way that you are going to get true HD, it makes all the difference in the world.
