I can usually work out everything myself but this has me beat I bought a viao 2nd hand and when I reset thee password i immediately forgot it!!! Dumb or what, when I try the recovery it says I need to insert a password recovery disk or data something....no matter what USB Pen drive new and old it wont continue I ask the previous owner for the recovery disc he only had it a few months and hardly used it. When I search for answers it says i have to ring someone at sony and pay to have it reset? Please, please, pretty please help me I am at my wits end and I am usually a good gadget girl 🙁
Why is this so complicated i get the immobilising for theft but surely there should be another way you can validate ownership can change password?
