I'm not quite sure if I plan to do this yet, but I think it would be pretty cool if you could use a mechanical switch as a power button for a desktop. I'm wondering if it's possible to solder the leads on the bottom of a switch and the motherboard connectors together to act as a power button. And, if you can, I'm wondering if you can buy LED mechanical switches. To prevent accidental presses, you could use a high resistance switch like a cherry MX green, and you could recess it in the case. What do you guys think, do you think it would be an interesting idea? I'm going to make this a discussion, since I think it's more of an idea rather than "Help!"
