Ok so I recently bought a predator helios 300 gaming laptop and have been basically stress testing it and when playing ghost recon wildlands the cpu sometimes reaches really high temps up to 82-85 celcius and I'm already using a tree new bee gaming laptop cooling pad at the highest rpm it will go and using a additional exhaust add-on that basically hooks onto the back to help the hot air out but even when using both at the same time it reachs these temps and that's in a 60 degree F room so it concerns me because I will be going on vacation soon and the temps will be around 80-90 degrees where ill be using it. Since I've already got 2 additional cooling add-ons i'm wondering is there anything else I can do to keep the CPU cooler I've thought about maybe buying some very good thermal paste but I don't know what Acer used so they might already have good thermal paste so I didn't want to waste time and money if ill just be applying thermal paste that is already the same or just as good as the paste already used. Any tips on how I can keep the CPU cooler besides what I've mentioned?

The only suggestion can I offer is to replace the thermal paste with something good like Arctic MX4. It could reduce temps by 3c - 7c; it depends on how good or bad the thermal paste is that Acer uses. Be aware that doing this will likely void your warranty.

Other than that, you can disable turbo boost which will prevent i7-7700HQ from going above 2.8GHz. This can affect game performance though...
