Ram upgrade on toshiba satellite U840-10R

Hello Everyone, I found when opening my laptop that there was only one ram slot can anyone confirm ? thanx in advance

According to crucial there are 2 memory slots. Are you looking at one empty and one filled memory slot and just using the empty one as the one ram slot?

Thanx for your reply, there's no empty slot, i was wondering if the empty one was under the keyboard.... i used the crucial diagnosis tool and found the same answer as you... maybe the french version of the laptop does not have two slots.
