Rca Atlas Pro-S tablet only recognizes some SSIDs on work wireless.

I'm at work and my Samsung galaxy sky pro will pick up all the wireless SSIDs no problem. My rca atlas 10 will only recognize one wireless SSID of which I do not have access. I do not have access to the router. I've done everything I can to the tablet (wipe wifi data, check system time, turn off bluetooth, system reset) to no avail. Please help!

Some of those that your one device recognizes and the other doesn't may be on a different GHz. There is 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. If the modem/router has access for both of those, then your device may not. You are probably going to have to check with your companies tech support to find out if that is the issue.

Unfortunately, that's what I was thinking. Hoping there was a way to switch frequencies in the tablet, but it won't give me that option.

The tablet itself may not have the ability. Not all android devices do. I would check with them to see if that is the case, and if perhaps they run both or not. Can't hurt to ask.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to root my tablet to see if I can manually specify the frequency. Probably deal with it and be happy. Thanks for the help!
