RCA Viking Pro tablet one year old won't hold a charge but I can use it as long as it's plugged into a charger into a wall

My RCA Viking Pro tablet is 1 year old all of a sudden it's not holding a charge. I can use it as long as it's plugged into the wall on a charger as soon as I take it off the charger it dies

Sounds like you need a new battery to me.

Sorry no solution just the same exact problem with the same tablet that is not older than 7 months old. My question was even to RCA is were can I buy a replacement battery? They will not tell me nor give me a estimate for repairs. I no longer have the sales receipt because we had a major fire storm sweep through our area last October, Santa Rosa, Ca. If anyone can tell me were to buy a replacement battery I would love to know. I used to love RCA, but the dog is dead.
