RECEIVER vsx 920 RECEIVER CUTS OUT WHEN VOLUME TUNED UP

Every time i turn the volume up the Pioneer 920 receiver cuts out and switches off automatically, I checked speaker cables etc. What is the problem? thanks

Sounds like the amp is working too hard and is turning off to protect itself. It either can't produce that much power or it is getting too hot would be my guess.

thank you I have cleaned up the back area and removed the dust from the fan corner. Ive checked all the connections too. I will update idf this contunues. Ive never had this issue before in 2 years of owning this unit
