Replace LCD socket (connector)

Hello!

I broke some pins of the LCD connector of my laptop and I guess if there are any option to fix it.
For example, by replacing it, converting the cable to VGA|HDMI, etc.

It looks like they are just bent, unless you are sure at least one has actually broken off.

If you are lucky and careful you can straighten them with the right tool. I use an empty mechanical pencil of the right diameter. You can turn the power OFF! slip the pencil over the pin so it goes all the way into the mechanical pencil, then gently adjust the pin straight in both directions.

The students in my Computer Construction Crewe have done this a couple of times and I learned the trick in a previous life.
