Ribbon Cable for eMachine D528-2496

I was repairing the LCD screen of an eMachine D528, and I think I may have torn the ribbon cable when disconnecting it from the back of the broken LCD. It was most likely my fault, I mean, but either way the cord is torn. I've been searching for a replacement and have been unable to find one. If anyone could assist me in finding one for this eMachine model or a cable that would work, that would be amazing. There is a webcam connected to the cable, by the way.

This is the first time I couldn't find a part on ebay - wow. Does the cable have a sticker with some identifying number on it?

Found some for an "E" 528 but it doesn't look quite the same...

The internets are not providing results for your part... There were some whole systems out there, if it's worth scavenging parts. I'll look through my stock tomorrow and see if I happen to have one.

Yeah, thanks for searching, but that won't work. I've done quite a bit of searching myself, figured someone here may know a bit more than me. If you found one that would be amazing.

OK, I didn't have one in house, but I did find one that the website says is in stock... It looks right in the picture, and has a list of compatible models... Hopefully it's a match.

I'd go down the list of "compatible" cables and find one that matches on ebay first.
