Samsung to ue40h5500 turning itself on and off

Hi
I have the Above Samsung tv model. The tv comes on, automatically brings the smart menu up and then switches off after 8-10 seconds. It then starts up again and continues. I can occasionally interrupt the sequence to place on stand by and managed to get into the boot menu to do a factory reset but still have the same issue. Being able to get into this menu just seems random as haven't managed it again. Any ideas?

I have found the same issue with my UE32H5500 and UE40H5500. It seems to have started between 02:00 and 04:00 BST. I tried resetting the SmartHub on the 32 and that seems to have made it worse.

I also have this issue with my UE48H6700. It was working fine last night. I have found that the TV stays on if I disconnect it from the network, but obviously that renders all of the smart stuff unusable. Not happy Samsung!

Their support site seems to be struggling under load.

Just spoke to John Lewis support and they confirmed that an over the air update has broken most Samsung TVs, I haven't had anything official from Samsung yet. Trying their live support at 10am
