SD card formatting

I have an SD card that I use for my Wii U. When I insert this SD card into my computer, I can only access it by formatting my SD card. Will it delete my game/saved data on it?

P.S. I have a Lexar SD card.

yes if you format the sd card, you WILL delete your games/saved data.
go get another sd card for your computer
