I've been having this issue for quite a while now, but no matter how many antivirus scans I run, I still have this error. The address bar for Chrome, is, by default, set to Google Search. But for some reason, when I search a keyword, I get automatically rerouted to Yahoo Search. In my settings, I made sure that Google is the default search engine, and I removed everything else. Is there something I could change in my registry to change this? I can't think of anything else that would potentially cause this. I did remove all unknown extensions, too. Thanks in advance to any replies!

Hey iEclipse. I have a couple of options for you to try and fix this issue.

1. Follow the steps in this Google support article: (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2765944)
2. Run a full system scan with MalwareBytes (https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/)
3. Look for unknown or suspicious programs in 'Add/Remove Programs' found in the Control Panel

If this solves or doesn't solve your problem let me know.
