Several Key on my keyboard is dead

I have an Asus X42JY laptop.

F4, F9, Delete, Home, Left and right key aren't working.

First time I tried it in safe mode, it works. After a few days, it doesn't work anymore. It's like the key just slowly dies away.

I just want to make sure, is it the keyboard problem or the driver problem here right now?

It is a keyboard problem. It sounds like a problem with the key matrix. The keyboard will need replaced, unfortunately.

On the bright(ish) side, laptop keyboards are often inexpensive.

It never work again in safe mode.

Yeah, sounds like you need to replace the keyboard. It may work if you just unplug it from the laptop internal connector and plug it back in, but it is doubtful. Look at a tutorial of how to replace the keyboard and go through the process of taking it out and back in to see if it is fixed. If not ask asus for a new one. Is it still under warranty?

I tried taking it out already and still doesn't work. It's almost 3-5 years already, it's really out of warranty.
