sony viao 671L

hello all,i v'e just replaced the cmos battery on my sony viao 671L,now the only thing i get is a binking light on the front(power)to make sure it was that i put the old cmos battery in and still just a blinking light.i cannot get this thing to start,help please,

There appears to be a few possible fixes, most revolving around ram. Try removing one of your ram modules, see if it helps. If not, then swap the ram module, see if anything.
The strangest one (IMO, but worth a shot) was to "press power, then immediately eject the DVD tray..."
I found no reference to this for Sony but on some laptops, the power light blinking indicates a short in the system - you didn't leave any loose screws in there or...

yes tried both of these solutions and still have blinking light when power button is slid to on position,i know it's a error but can't find out which,please if anyone has experienced this before please post or suggestions,thanks
