Solved! Speakers on asus monitor sound messed up I don't know how to describe it so I recorded it. What is it?

Solution
If the sound is fine through desktop speakers, then the monitor speakers are faulty.

Speakers on LCD monitors are generally inadequate anyway (and that's being polite) so I don't even use mine, never have. Don't know why they bother fitting them -- same applies to most speakers on a modern TV - - - there just isn't enough space to fit decent sounding ones.

Yea, I figured they were faulty but do you have any idea whats faulty about them? Perhaps I can fix it? By the way they sounded just fine when they first came.
