Tablet steals wifi

when my tablet connects to the wifi, no other devices can use the internet. The tablet can use the internet fine, but my laptop and anything else using the wifi can no longer access the internet whenever the tablet is using it.
i was just wondering if there was a solution to this.

Check with another tablet and/or router if you are able to, If you find it is the tablet go to the retailer and ask them. Same applies to the router. When they are able to help you IRL.
