I have Toshiba 52HL167 TV and a Yamaha R-S202 receiver, and the two are not working together. I have a digital audio converter connected to an optical wire and the converter, and RCA plugs going from the converter to the "in" RCA ports on the Toshiba. Another RCA cable connects from the "out" port to the Yamaha's "in." The receiver displays the correct line. I talked to Yamaha's troubleshooting staff, and I know the problem is not with the functionality of its RCA ports. I suspect that the toshiba is either broken or I do not have the correct setting. A straigh-up analog connection has not worked either. Any tips?
