Toshiba USB recovery had no software for microphone or camera

Like an idiot; didn't keep the paperwork or email receipt because.. come on; it was direct from Toshiba. Reloaded to factory out of box condition with it only to find no camera.exe and no microphone software program. Have called continually but get the run around... does anyone know where I can get the drivers/software needed? It is NOT listed on the Toshiba site for Satellite Sbbt-B5136...

You may use the webcam software, like Youcam from cyberlink http/downloads.tomsguide.com/YouCam-3,0301-24735.html or any webcam software from online you can find.

Lost my webcam and microphone applications when I upgraded to Windows 10 (everything else was fine; just do not like 10). Decided to go back to 8.1 but it was too late. Windows 10 deleted my .old! I ordered the USB recovery (as my satellite has no cd drive) FROM TOSHIBA and reinstalled to out of the box (new) state. Or it was suppose to... no applications, .exe's, or anything for any of them. Nothing listed in device manager, and no yellowed device there either. And I cannot find drivers for those listed on the Toshiba website either. Still fighting this. My hubby works overseas and I can't Skype or Facebook with him using the webcam. ANYONE........PLEASE?!?!?!

Doesn't work. It can't find a webcam. It's like there isn't a webcam on the laptop. But there is a built in webcam. For some reason the microphone and webcam have completely disappeared into thin air.

Click the Start menu. Enter "Camera" into the search field. Then you will find your webcam.

And you may try use the " Driver Booster " http/download.cnet.com/Driver-Booster/3000-18513_4-75992725.html because it will find the driver for the laptop.
