I would skip using the Kodak software and, if possible, just drag and drop the movie files to your computer's hard drive using My Computer and then burn a DVD from there.
You could transfer either with a USB connection between the camera and the computer or with a USB (presumably SD) card reader plugged into the computer.
The only question remaining is whether the Kodak's movies are in a format readily playable by popular players (such as Windows Media Player, though there are many others available for free download).
