Ultrabook Memory use

I recently purchased a Samsung "New" series 9 Ultrabook.

I noticed right off the bat that it was using 90%+ of the RAM, and this was causing some issues whenever I ran anything that might take a bit of memory. For example I ran spotify and it would cause it to lag with a sort of "robotic" sound quite frequently.

So I deleted some bloatware and that helped a little but in the end I bought another 4 gig stick for it.

My question is that now that I have 8 gigs my performance monitor says that I am still using about 75% of the RAM.
On start up I open the resource monitor and the memory use shoots from about 2 gigs to about 7 gigs.
I checked the applications and resource monitor and in total I would guess that there is about 500mb or so of usage there.

It has shared memory for the on board graphics, could that be the issue? Or could it possibly be misreading it as the original percentage used?

When your check your memory usage in Task Manager look at how much is CACHED
Windows will keep stuff in cache in case you need it later. This is a good thing.

Also click on the Processes tab, select 'Show processes from all users' and then click on 'Memory (Private Working Set)' to order column by size. What are the top 5?

I don't see a "Show processes from all users" option but I am the only account on the computer.

Top 5 are 38.7, 18.2, 12.3, 11.8, 9.1 MB

Cached is 323Mb with 379 reserved for hardware.

In use is 5.4GB with 2.2 available

119Mb paged and 4.7Gb non paged

It also says something about 5.5/12.1Gb Committed
