Solved! url downloading automation software

I am wondering if there is any software out there that I can input a domain name and have it crawl around in a guided manner and download videos by their url? I'm not talking of getting around security in websites, I'm talking about if I have authority to be in the website and download the videos/pictures/sound files then just have software that will download it for me?

Authority was probably the wrong word. Replace authority with i have access to the sites and can use the clips according to the user agreement, which i do but searching through 10s of 1000s of clips and trying to download a good portion of them from several places is time consuming and tedious. What about something where i can i input like a text file with the download links and do like a mass download?

These things do not work this way... Take for example YouTube. How do you think you can download all the videos off there?
Check wget - you can feed it list of URLs to download.
