usb drive to composite a/v

I'm looking for a device that uses as input a pendrive or an external drive and output as a composite a/v (Old tv). I just want to watch some movies on a usb key to an old tv. Any advice for me. Thanks all.

I think a Roku type box may do it but am not absolutely sure, you will have to do further research. Then all these boxes want to output to HDMI so you need to buy a converter, and the conversion will make the picture look bad most likely. Then the Roku box maybe tricky reading those videos files which may contain old codec no longer supported.

All in all, my brother, this is not going to be cheap, maybe unsatisfactory and takes lots of your time.

How about a nice laptop?
