Weird high pitched sound when i move my mouse

i recently bought some new ear buds (http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826193065) to replace the ones i previously had which broke. as soon as i plugged these in and put them in my ear i began to hear a very obnoxious high pitched whine whenever i moved my mouse, but as soon as i stop moving it the sound also stops. I was wondering if there is a possible quick and easy way to fix this? Any response would be very helpful

Look in windows themes and check the sound effects setting for the mouse. There is probably an obnoxious sound effect set for the mouse, which you can change or shut down...

unfortunately that isn't the issue, if i didn't make it clear the sound only started once i put in my new pair of ear buds so i think the problem has something to do with them.
