Westinghouse LTV-46W1 video problem

46"Westinghouse flat screen powers on image comes on for a second or so then goes off, sound works. Has new power supply! Any ideas?

Shine a flashlight into it after it goes out and see if the image is still there and its just the backlighting that went out.
